Technology Platform
To fully support your business and meet our service obligations, your technology needs to meet a minimum standard. The purpose of this document is to ensure only supported hardware and software is in use across your environment - making operations as smooth and secure as possible.
If your systems do not meet these minimum standards before your agreement start date, we will work with you on a plan to bring them up to the required level.
If an item requiring support does not meet our minimum standards, it is at our sole discretion whether we charge at regular rates as set out in our Rates Schedule. We may also, at our sole discretion, decline to support the item entirely.
We review and update this document periodically to reflect current best practices.

Minimum Standards
Servers
Servers must be under manufacturer warranty, running a supported operating system, and properly licensed.
Laptops & Desktops
Laptops and desktops must be under manufacturer warranty and running a supported operating system. Windows devices must run Windows Pro or higher.
Minimum hardware requirements:

Software
All software must be fully licensed and supported by the provider. Unlicensed or end-of-life software will not be supported.

The following platforms are tested, supported, and recommended by ITstuffed. Using these platforms ensures the smoothest possible service delivery and the best security outcomes for your business.

Disallowed Software
The following categories of software will be actively searched for and removed from any device covered under an ITstuffed agreement. We take our role as your IT department seriously - we reserve the right to remove any application, script, or file that we or our tools identify as a security risk. This list may be updated as we work together.
Peer-to-peer and file sharing software
Software including LimeWire, BitTorrent, and similar applications. These create significant security and legal exposure.
System tune-up and driver update utilities
Applications including Slimware, Iolo, Ashampoo, and similar tools. These often introduce instability and are frequently used as vectors for malware.
Third-party antivirus or security products
Applications including AVG, Malwarebytes free edition, and similar consumer security tools. These conflict with our managed security stack and reduce overall protection.
Unauthorised remote access software
Applications including TeamViewer, GoToMyPC, LogMeIn, and similar tools not authorised by ITstuffed. Unauthorised remote access software creates unmonitored entry points into your environment.
